iMGD ACT
Alternative Courses for Transition
WELCOME TO OUR PIONEERING PROGRAM FOR SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS (AGES 12 YEARS OR OLDER)
We have designed a simplified academic and everyday-skills plan to accommodate special individuals (high school age, in their 20s or even 30s). We believe we can provide a learning environment for them to further grow, learn new skills, and have new friends.

Our instructors are SPED-trained and graduates of Bachelor in Secondary Education - all Licensed Professional Teachers, trained to handle older individuals with special needs.
Our programs are geared towards finding a viable career for those who are high-functioning; a practicable home-based work for those who are moderately functioning; and realistic activities for daily living for low-functioning individuals.

BATCH
Basic  Alternative Transition Course for Higher-Age
Years 1 & 2
CLASSES & ROOMS
(currently under construction - target utilization on Sept. 2, 2021)
ACT Classes will have separate rooms for the following subjects:
SCIENCE
A bright room with its own lavatory for exciting experiments. Kids will have fun learning about plants, insects, weather, and other interesting science facts.
MATH
The Math Classroom is a room from the future, with decors to stimulate the brain for practical computations and calculations.
ENGLISH & COMMUNICATIONS
Straight out of a classic book, our English room looks rustic and will motivate the kids to read and communicate about literary books and figures.
SOCIAL STUDIES
A round table that will serve as a focal point for discussions ranging from history, to simple politics, to morals and values. The room enhances communications and cooperation.
ACTIVITIES FOR DAILY LIVING
Specially designed to accommodate individual learning and mastery of ADL topics, it is one-of-a-kind, and truly a unique facility in iMGD. Possibly the only one in the metro.
COMPUTER
Each student has his/her own computer console to use when learning about the computer. Who knows, we might discover that your child has a hidden genius on computers that he/she can actually make into a career.
ART QUIRKSHOP
Two rooms that are designed to accommodate group art collaborations and individual art works. This room shall also be used for Arts & Crafts classes. Complete with its own lavatory and broad windows, we aim to inspire our young learners to make great art works!
INDEED, it is best to visit our institute to appreciate how much we could help your child!
